The heart of Maplewood Community Music is our dedicated volunteers. Our musicians give their time and talent to bring free music to our community, and many also contribute behind the scenes.

Now, we’re looking for additional volunteers to share their expertise and time to help us strengthen and expand our programs. Whether you’re a student looking for community service hours or an adult with professional skills to contribute, we’d love to have you join our team.

We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:

Multimedia Support

MCM hosts several community events each season and we want to capture the memorable moments for our publicity channels and build a media archive. Students in the field can add to their portfolios!

Photographer

Take group portraits and candid/live performance photos at MCM events

Videographer

Capture live performance footage and edit recordings into polished video for archival and promotional use

Strategic & Ongoing Fundraising Support

If you have professional experience in any of these areas, we could use your support to help us run our organization more effectively and build a long-term stategy.

Grants

Research grant opportunities, grant writing, progress reports

Corporate Giving

Develop corporate giving initiatives, pursue corporate sponsors

Fundraising

Develop fundraising strategies and manage campaigns

Donor Management

Maintain donor records, coordinate acknowledgments, and support ongoing donor communications and relationships
