​Swing Town is Maplewood's own 20-piece big band. Under the direction of Ben Williams, the group's mission is to bring classic swing charts and modern jazz masterpieces to the residents of Maplewood and surrounding towns. The group rehearses twice a month at DeHart Community Center and performs several times a year, including two free concerts (winter and summer) and occasionally in night spots, restaurants, and at benefits for local charitable organizations.
