Our Performing Ensembles
Maplewood Community Music was founded in February of 2003 with two bands: the Concert Band and its "big band"-style jazz group, Swing Town. Since then, we have grown to eight ensembles comprised of brass, woodwind, and percussion players of all abilities. The ensembles consist of volunteer musicians who wish to practice and perform challenging music in a fun, low-key setting.
