Announcement: Conductor Search

Deadline: Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Maplewood Community Music is seeking applications for a musical director/conductor to assume leadership of the Maplewood Community Concert Band beginning in July in preparation for the 2014-15 season. All interested candidates should access the job description for further details and submit all materials requested via the application form by April 30.

  • Do you have a band instrument that is way beyond repair?
    We are seeking band instruments that are considered junk and cannot be repaired. These instruments will be made available at our upcoming Children's Music Activities Event on April 12 (see below). School age children will have the opportunity to handle instruments without playing them or causing damage. If you can help us or know of another source, please contact Kerrie Hurford. Thank you!

We welcome all woodwind, brass and percussion musicians with at least high school level playing experience. College and high school music students, we want you too!
