Maplewood Community Music

For many years, Maplewood Community Music has had the privilege of using the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts for its winter and spring concerts. The use of this venue has been provided free-of-charge so that we may bring music to our community. In 2011, due to cuts in town program budgets, our major concerts can no longer be performed at the Burgdorff without the funds to rent the hall.

We are seeking a large auditorium in the town of Maplewood or South Orange to perform our spring and winter concerts. Any venue that can be donated or rented for a reasonable fee would be greatly appreciated.

Maplewood Community Music allows area high school, college, and adult musicians the opportunity to share music with our local communities. The musicians enjoy performing and our community gets to experience music close to home. In fact, our audiences at the Burgdorff have been "standing room only".
