Maplewood Community Music has been sponsored by the
Maplewood Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs
from
very early in its history. Support includes not only the financial contributions
that keep the organization active, but also provides free access
to Maplewood locations for rehearsals and concerts and has extended invitations to
our ensembles to play in many of Maplewood's annual music events. Past events
included: Summer Music Fest, the
South Orange/Maplewood Baseball/Softball parade, and the Memorial Day parade.
Maplewood Community Music's community programs are made possible with support from the Maplewood Township Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs and donations.
