The Maplewood Community Concert Band is a
small (25 - 40 member) woodwind, brass, and percussion ensemble that
performs seasonal concerts in winter and spring. An
outdoor summer concert is often performed and the Community Concert Band provides
members for Maplewood community parades, as well.
This Community Concert Band is a performance group for high school/college student, experienced adult, and out-of-practice musicians who would like to have more performance opportunities or increase their music skills in a community environment.
The Community Concert Band performs various styles of music
including classical, traditional, marches, and modern; however, no
style is off limits.
Rehearsals are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the
DeHart Community Center in Maplewood — map

Our Community Concert Band always welcomes new members. While players must have experience, we welcome amateur and out-of-practice musicians. Dust off your instruments and come play — musicians of all levels are welcome. College and high school music students, we want you too!
Enjoy challenging music in a fun, laid-back atmosphere and get to know local musicians, too. Participate in the 2011 - 2012 Season and other performances throughout the year. Join us for just one concert or all year long.
Currently, we have openings for musicians playing the following instruments:
